Continuing to consolidate the organization of the Department of Aviation Management in the direction of renewing state owned enterprises, on October 15, 1990, the Minister of Transport and Communications signed the Decision No 1888-QD / TCCB / Vietnam Airline Management Company, hereinafter referred to as Flight Management Company, directly under Vietnam Civil Aviation Corporation. The Company carries out the functions of managing, operating and controlling flight operations in the assigned flight hall and airspace; To ensure air traffic services, aeronautics and meteorological services, to participate in the search and rescue of domestic and foreign civil aircraft within the scope of their responsibilities. The company is both an aviation security assurance organization and an economic operator of aviation services. In terms of composition, its member organizations and infrastructure management companies include: Ha Noi Flight Management Company, Da Nang Flight Management Enterprise, Tan Son Flight Management Enterprise Most and Aviation Information Center.
