Contract signing ceremony for the supply and installation of 03 primary and secondary radar systems at Noi Bai, Son Tra, and Tan Son Nhat

December 11, 2025, at VATM’s headquarters, VATM and ELDIS PARDUBICE S.R.O. signed the Contract for Package: “Supply, installation 03 primary and secondary radar systems' under the radar replacement projects at Noi Bai, Son Tra, and Tan Son Nhat”. This is one of the key packages of the air traffic surveillance modernization plan for the 2025-2030 period.

The package “Supply, installation of 03 primary and secondary radar systems under the radar replacement project at Noi Bai, Son Tra and Tan Son Nhat” is a critical component of three major projects for replacement of radar systems at Noi Bai, Son Tra and Tan Son Nhat. This contract, valued at USD 10,432,976.60 and VND 9,125,117,409 underscores VATM’s commitment to enhancing Viet Nam’s air traffic management capabilities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and modernization in Viet Nam’s aviation industry. 

Speaking at the ceremony, VATM’s Director General Nguyen Cong Long emphasized the project as a priority for enhancing air traffic safety and efficiency, aligning with government strategy. Mr. Long congratulated ELDIS and expressed his confidence in ELDIS's technological capabilities and experience. He firmly believed that these advanced radar systems will contribute to establishing a synchronized aviation surveillance network to meet future operational demands.

Mr. Le Hoang Minh - Chairman of VATM remarked that selecting ELDIS for this package demonstrates a consistent investment strategy and reinforces their trusted partnership. He emphasized the critical importance of the radars at Noi Bai, Son Tra, and Tan Son Nhat are of particular significance, as these are areas handle with high-density air traffic and play an important role in the national ATM network. Once commissioned, these systems will enhance surveillance reliability, improve service quality, and ensure the highest level of flight safety.

Mr. Martin Dufek - Deputy Commercial Director and representative of ELDIS PARDUBICE, S.R.O. - expressed his sincere appreciation to the VATM leadership for their trust in selecting ELDIS to execute the package. He affirmed that ELDIS would mobilize all necessary resources to supply modern, optimal radar systems and coordinate closely with VATM to ensure the project's schedule, technical standards, and quality. He also hoped that this signing ceremony would serve as a foundation to further strengthen the long-term and sustainable partnership between the two parties.

The signing ceremony of this contract marks another significant step in VATM's investment and technical infrastructure modernization roadmap. Upon completion, the project will contribute to enhancing Viet Nam's airspace surveillance capacity, meeting the robust growth of the aviation industry and better serving air traffic management operations in the coming years.
