On 10 March 2014 at VATM headquarters, a meeting between VATM’s Deputy Director General – Doan Huu Gia and representative of IATA Training & Development Institute (ITDI) – Mr. Lu Luo, Manager Training, Asia Pacific was held with the participation of representatives from Personnel & Organization Department & the Corporation Office.
At the meeting, ITDI & VATM evaluated training cooperation activities between the two sides over the past few years, as well as exchanged information on training courses to be held by ITDI Singapore in 2014. From 2005 to present, there were 53 participants from VATM attending five (05) training courses of ITDI. These training courses are evaluated successfully, contributing to enhance knowledge and English skills for the participants.
During the discussion, ITDI also provided latest information on its development and capabilities on training and joint-training. This information shall be useful for VATM to consider & establish the plans on training & joint-training cooperation with ITDI in the future.
Besides, at the meeting, ITDI also noted and committed to consider VATM’s proposal of providing fellowships and priority policies for VATM training courses.
